Obituary for Krista Grover

Krista “Kritta” Grover
Krista was born March 21, 1998 in Monticello, Utah to Erik and Janalee Grover. She was the youngest of four girls. Her sisters were her best friends and she grew up doing everything with them. Krista passed away on March 27, 2018 in Taylorsville, Utah. She had been living there, with her grandparents, for the past year and a half. She was pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinary technician.
Krista graduated from San Juan High School in 2016. During high school she participated and excelled in volleyball, basketball, and rodeo. She was a friend to all and a joy to be around.
Krista was a girl who made everything fun. She worked hard, and she played hard. She was passionate about the things she loved. She loved her family and her animals.
Krista was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved to do temple work, read and study the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and share it with others.
Krista will always be remembered for her contagious smile and uplifting laughter. She would instantly brighten any room she entered. Her ability to turn a perfect stranger into a lifelong friend will always be remembered by those who had the blessing of knowing her.
Krista’s greatest joy during the past two years was when her nephews, McCrae and Kolter, made her an aunt. They had her wrapped around their fingers from the start.
Krista is survived by her parents, Erik and Janalee Grover; sisters, Shaylee and Krieg Adair, Erika and Rhett Adair, Amanda and Kendall Black; nephews, McCrae and Kolter; grandparents, Merlin Grover, Larry and Mildred Brown.
Krista was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lou Ann Laws Grover.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support that has been shown during this difficult time. Krista’s labor of love has been emulated by the countless acts of kindness and generosity that has been shown by family, friends, and community.
